Week 7

Individual props

I created several props in different scenes again using plans and images from the book as a guide. The props will later be combined into the overall ship file once everything has been completed and is ready to be assembled.

Cannons

Generally the only problem with the cannon was making the chains look like it was draping naturally from the hinges as I’ve only manually moved and adjusted the parts individually. But this shouldn’t pose much of a problem considering the overall size of the chain with the chain and then the ship the unnatural placement of the chain can easily be ignored.

Anchors

I started off with the main anchor and then duplicated it to make individual changes so they look like the other two anchors. No problems were encountered during this part and the progress was quite straight forward.
